Machinist Apprentice

You will develop practical skills that are used every day in a precision engineering environment, including:

Reading and understanding engineering drawings and tolerances Using measuring equipment correctly and consistently Supporting production activities under supervision Learning how quality, safety, and repeatability are maintained Understanding materials and why specifications matter Developing problem-solving skills and attention to detail You will gain experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, working with modern CNC and multi-spindle machinery across a range of engineering applications

Training:

This is a Level 3 Machining apprenticeship, delivered over a 30 month period.The apprentice will attend the training centre In-Comm Training in Aldrisge WS9 8UG for the first 7 months.



Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to forge a successful career with excellent pay/progression with no limit

Employer Description:

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm. Friday, 7.30am - 1.30pm. If the apprentice is aged under 18 they will work 38 hours, if they are aged over 18 they will work 40 hours.
