Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager required for a large privately owned Nursery in Sheffield approx 2.5 miles from the city centre. This is a large busy nursery with a potential of up to 100 children (currently only 59% occupancy)

Important Information

Salary £40,000

Plus Annual performance bonus (up to £45,000)

Hours – 40 hours a week - 07:30-18:00

Essential Criteria

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent Paediatric First Aid (full) Previous experience as nursery manager Experience leading and motivating a team, with excellent proactive team engagement and involvement Previous experience managing income and expenditure budget

What we are looking for

A Nursery Manager with previous experience and a hands on , can do attitude A driven and nurturing personality who wants the best for the children and team Strong knowledge of Early Years Appropriate qualification is essential Excellent communication skills Ability to write and maintain clear records Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
