Apprentice Security Officer

The role will involve assisting the Security Team Leader in monitoring CCTV and alarms, including proactive patrolling throughout the buildings & grounds and responding to fire alarm activations. This role will require you to communicate effectively with your colleagues and delivering excellent customer service.

The role will include:

Control Room operations Controlling pedestrian and vehicle access to the Palace Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems Responding to any escalated security incidents Proactive patrolling throughout the buildings and grounds Responding to fire alarm activations Providing a safe and secure environment for visitors and staff Ensure own understanding of all security procedures, particularly emergency procedures, by participating in a structured programme of learning and refresher tests.
