Trainee Accountant Apprentice

We are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join the team at Spotlight. Starting in a junior role, this position offers a clear pathway towards becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with the potential to manage your own portfolio of clients.

Within the first 12 months, you will be involved in:

Preparing accounts from incomplete records Producing year-end working papers for review Carrying out bookkeeping for both clients and the firm
Preparing VAT returns Assisting with basic payroll preparation

Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the Level 2 Finance Assistant apprenticeship, there may be the opportunity to progress into a full-time position.

Working Hours :
Hours will initially be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, then, once established, we offer flexible working patterns that can be arranged.
