Accountancy Apprenticeship (AAT4) - Middlesborough

The Role

As part of our practice team, you’ll work across a variety of client accounts and gain exposure to real world accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed AAT Level 3 and wants to progress toward full qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients Assist with year end accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Support the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts Process bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers Assist with personal and corporation tax computations Communicate with clients to request information and resolve queries Use accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and practice management tools Support senior accountants with ad hoc tasks and client projects Understanding payroll

What We’re Looking For

Completed AAT Level 3 OR Alevels/BTEC in Relevant Subject Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Confident using Excel and digital accounting tools Good communication skills, especially when dealing with clients A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines Interest in developing a long term career in accountancy practice
