Level 3 Early Years Apprentice

Your duties will include: 

Assisting staff with classroom preparation, including organising resources, tidying learning areas, and supporting simple administrative tasks. Working alongside teachers and support staff to supervise children during lessons, small‑group activities, and independent learning. Helping maintain a safe, calm environment by supporting behaviour expectations and modelling positive interactions. Carrying out lunch and break‑time duties, including supervising play areas, supporting children in the dining hall, and ensuring safety and wellbeing throughout. Assisting with setting up and clearing away resources for clubs, lessons, and daily routines. Following safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times. Engaging positively with training, coaching, and feedback as part of the Level 3 apprenticeship programme. Contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment by building positive relationships with children, staff, and families. Providing support during early bird and aftercare sessions, helping to run activities, once per week.

Training:

Early Years Educator Standard Level 3. Training is delivered in the
workplace, plus two or three College-based sessions throughout
the course. This can be supported by some remote delivery if required.

Training Outcome:

Potential position upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday 7.30 am- 3.30 pm Tuesday 8.00 am- 4.00 pm Wednesday 8.00 am - 5.30 pm Thursday 8.00 am- 4.00 pm Friday 8.00am - 4.00 pm With a one-hour lunch break each day. Total: 36.5 hours per week, term-time only.
