What You’ll Gain

Training:

Block Release Between Qurtzelec and MTC training so you need to be able to commute to both locations.

What You’ll Be Doing During Your Apprenticeship:

Working safely and following all quality procedures Rotating through different areas of the coil manufacturing process Learning hand‑fitting techniques and how to use specialist machinery Attending college lectures, practical sessions, and site visits Completing assignments on time and maintaining good academic progress Supporting continuous improvement activities Attending the workplace during non‑term time

Once Qualified, You’ll Be Able To:

Manufacture a wide range of coils to engineering specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Use measurement tools such as micrometers, vernier callipers, and gauges Work independently and as part of a team Take ownership of tasks and contribute to ongoing improvements

07.30 – 16.00 Monday – Thursday 07.30 – 13.30 Friday
