Apprentice Fitter
The successful candidate will be working alongside experienced Fitters assembling all types of Rigid Bodies and Trailers. The apprenticeship will involve:
Learning how to use of hand and air tools Assist in the assembly and fitting of mechanical components for trailers and rigid bodywork Learn to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Operate hand tools and workshop equipment safely Prepare materials and components for fitting processes Carry out quality checks and report defects Maintain a clean and safe working environment Complete off-the-job training and portfolio work as part of the apprenticeship program Once the probation period is over you will be placed on an NVQ training course to become a fully qualified Fitter. We are invested in continuous career development throughout your employment and a keen interest in engineering is crucial for this role.On successful completion of the apprenticeship, the candidate will achieve a nationally recognised engineering apprenticeship qualificationTraining Outcome:
As well as gaining a broad range of professional knowledge and experience, you will gain academic and vocational qualifications such as the Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard. You will also achieve Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations (Skills), as well as a Level 2 Certificate in Engineering Operations (Knowledge).

Working Hours :
Monday- Friday 07:30- 16:30 (if under the age of 18) Monday- Friday 07:30- 17:00 (if over the age of 18)
