Nursery Nurse Apprentice

Planning and delivering activities with children aged 0-8 years.  Supporting children with their general development, including interacting with other children.  Communicating with parents and carers of their child's daily/ weekly progress.  Supervising children to ensure you are managing/ avoiding any risks.  Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

Training:

You'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including child development from birth to 7 years, safeguarding, promoting wellbeing, supporting activities, purposeful play & educational programmes, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer.



Training Outcome:

As with any apprenticeship opportunity – if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team, there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.

Kids' Corner Nursery provides excellent childcare throughout the year for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children. They have carefully selected their managers and staff to ensure a high level of commitment and to provide all children with a safe and comfortable environment.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday between 8.30am to 4.30pm.
