Support Worker Apprenticeship - Ipswich

At Leading Lives we are looking for a compassionate and committed person to join our vibrant team as a Support Worker Apprentice. This role focuses on supporting our customers to live the life they choose and you’ll be a key part of helping people live independently, confidently, and joyfully.

Main roles and Responsibilities: 

Communicate effectively and sensitively with customers taking into account their personal communication style. Liaise effectively with families, paid carers and others who have an interest in the support provided to the customer. Supporting people with daily living skills and independence. Being a strong advocate for the people we support and their families. Providing personal care with dignity and respect. Building meaningful relationships and communicating effectively. Administering medication safely and responsibly. Providing personal care with dignity and compassion.

We believe in investing in our people. As part of your journey with us, you’ll be expected to complete the Level 2 or 3 Support Worker Apprenticeship. We’ll support your development with dedicated study days and ongoing guidance to help you succeed and become qualified.



Training:
The learner will be studying the Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification. There may be an opportunity to study the Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification, provided relevant experience is stated.

Training Outcome:

We have an excellent track record with our past apprentices, with apprentices successfully gaining their apprenticeship with many gaining permanent positions.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00.
