Trainee Housing Supervisor - Team Leader Apprenticeship Level 3
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support
Assist with day-to-day housing operations in line with organisational policies and procedures
Support the coordination of property management activities, including repairs, maintenance, and voids
Monitor service performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and housing legislation
Team Supervision (Developmental):
Support frontline housing officers and operational staff to deliver high-quality services Assist with scheduling, task allocation, and workload management Participate in team meetings and contribute to performance discussions Shadow supervisors and managers to develop leadership and decision-making skillsTenant & Stakeholder Engagement
Promote positive tenant relationships and respond to enquiries and complaints professionally Support tenancy sustainment and community engagement initiatives Work collaboratively with contractors, external agencies, and community partnersCompliance & Administration
Maintain accurate records in line with data protection and regulatory requirements Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements Adhere to safeguarding procedures and equality, diversity, and inclusion standardsLearning & Development:
Take part in a structured training programme covering supervision, housing legislation, customer service, and compliance Work towards relevant qualifications in housing or management Receive mentoring and regular performance reviews to support career progressionTraining:
Teaching and learning the skills, knowledge and behaviours to be competent within a Teamleading or Supervisor position.
Training Outcome:
This role is intended as a development pathway into a supervisor or Housing Team Leader position, subject to satisfactory performance and completion of training objectives.

Rota Basis - Mon - Sun 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.
