Vehicle Technician

Newbury 4×4 Centre Ltd is looking for a skilled Technician to join our established, friendly team in Berkshire specialising in Land Rover and Range Rover.

You'll be hands-on in the workshop, working across a range of Land Rover and Range Rover models. 

Day-to-day, you'll:

Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and inspections to a high standardPerform diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systemsUse specialist tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficientlyEnsure vehicles meet quality and safety standards before returning to customersWork closely with the team to deliver a smooth, professional customer experience

We're after a technician who takes pride in doing things properly and enjoys solving problems. 

You'll need:

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with proven diagnostic experienceConfidence with electrical systems, fault diagnosis and diagnostic equipmentA keen eye for detail, good organisation, and a safety-first mindsetThe ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues (and customers when needed)A full UK driving licence

Experience with Land Rover and Range Rover models is a big plus, but great technicians who learn fast are welcome too.
