Degree Apprentice Supply Chain Leader

Manage relationships with designated suppliers of goods and services to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets are being achieved Conduct requests for quotation, evaluation, negotiations, and sourcing activities Look for cost reduction opportunities Raise orders and/or other demand signals accurately and on time to ensure all goods and services are supplied in accordance with customer and company requirements Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations and company policies and processes Manage MRP (SAP) system and supply chain performance parameters such as supplier contact information, lead times, minimum order quantities, delivery frequency and schedules Review performance data related to purchasing effectiveness and efficiency

Training:
Alongside your day role, you will work to complete your apprenticeship with Aston University You will be given 20% off the job hours, this will give you the knowledge, training and external approval to do your job effectively

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the programme - and subject to performance - you may have the opportunity to move into a permanent role within the team or business area where you completed your apprenticeship
