Apprentice GRP Fabrication Operative

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in fabricating and assembling GRP components Operate tools and machinery under guidance Ensure quality and safety standards are met Support continuous improvement initiatives Complete apprenticeship coursework and training

We are looking for someone with:

A strong interest in manufacturing and GRP fabrication Practical, hands-on approach and eagerness to learn Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable (but not essential):

Previous experience in manufacturing

Training:

Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

Training Outcome:
On successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be a full-time position available for the right candidate to grow within the organisation

Modular Systems Ltd is a leading manufacturer of modular solutions, specialising in Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pods.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 15:30 (32 hours) initially. It will then go to Monday to Friday 07:30 - 15:30 (39 hours).
