Lift Engineering Apprenticeship

Duties will include:

Working alongside experienced lift engineers Application of the use of tools Risk assessing safety critical environments Carrying out the servicing of lift equipment Investigating lift breakdowns Replacing worn/damaged equipment Modernising existing lift equipment

Training:

Full training and support will be given via work-based learning. The successful applicant will be expected to achieve the following:

Level 3 NVQ in Engineering Maintenance - Lift or Escalator Service and Repair Lift and Escalator Industry Association distance learning units 6 X BTEC distance learning units

Training Outcome:

The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to continue their development and become a member of a team of technicians. This will enable them to provide a range of support activities to engineers and other members of staff.
