CNC Machinist Level 3 Apprenticeship
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning machines.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and program adjustments as required
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure all parts meet quality standards.
Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering or programming teams to resolve them
Keep accurate production records and follow established workflow processes
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety guidelines
