Apprentice Early Years Practitioner

Under the guidance of senior staff, the successful candidate will be involved in working with individuals or small groups of children to support the education, personal and social development of children and establishing positive relationships to assist children’s complete structured learning activities.

Duties may include:

Support to implement learning activities working with individual or small groups of children Support to assist the development of varying skills that support children’s learning Support in producing learning resources Support to assist in children’s supervision Support in monitoring and recording of children’s progress and developmental needs Work within the settings policy and procedures Working to the relevant apprenticeship standard/framework and completing work in a timely manner

Training:
Whilst the majority of training will take place at the employers' premises, there will be occasional attendance required at Cirencester College

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the candidate will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent Level 2 role at the setting.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.00pm. Term time only.
