Apprentice Veterinary Nurse
Helping throughout the practice in a client-facing role
Set up kennels, assist with animal handling and care in hospital
Lab work - bloods, microscope, urinalysis
Prepare theatre, assist during surgery and monitor anaesthetics
Pharmacy - help prepare prescriptions
Assist with vet and nurse consults
Confidently answer phone and book appointment
Training:
The College of Animal Welfare (CAW) Leeds (1 day a week)
Northcote Vets, 358 Otley Road, BD2 4QR (4 days a week)
Training Outcome:
Have a career as an RVN and option to complete further qualifications if desired.

Working Hours :
Minimum of 30 hours a week. Shift patterns can be discussed, including some Saturday morning. No OOH, no bank holidays.
