Apprentice Machine operator

Main roles and responsibilities:

Working alongside experienced machinists learning and gaining experience in a variety of machine tools and machining techniques.  Maintaining high levels or quality and accuracy of parts. Helping to maintain good housekeeping within the workspace.

Training:
The learner will be studying the Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification. Day release to West Suffolk College.

Training Outcome:

The role is likely to turn into a full-time position upon successful completion of apprenticeship. It is also likely to develop into a programmer/operator of CNC machines as well as a multi machine operator.

08.00am -16.30pm (Monday-Thursday) 08.00am-13.00pm (Friday)
