Apprentice Nursery Assistant

Caring for children Safeguarding Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs Supporting children's play and learning Supporting children's development To help to keep children safe Preparing snacks and help with their feeding and cleaning

Training:

As an apprentice, you will be included on a Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Coach visiting you on a monthly basis, observing you whilst you work.

Training Outcome:

The possibility of permanent employment upon completion of the apprenticeship programme and career progression that will be discussed at the interview stage.

Academy 4 Kids Day Nursery is situated in a beautiful listed building, which was previously St James’ School for boys, founded in 1809. In the summer of 2003 Academy 4 Kids was established. 
Academy 4 Kids is a bright, welcoming and stimulating nursery for children from 3 months to 5 years. Our practice and facilities include:

Purpose built setting with extensive outside space
Children spend the majority of time outside, digging, planting, investigating, building, exploring and playing
A woodland area where we splash, run, get messy, camp and doze
Qualified staff providing excellent child led activities around the foundation stage
A resident chef who prepares superb, nutritious meals with fresh produce every day
Extra curricular activities including French and physical exercise classes
Car parking space for parents

Working Hours :
30 hours a week. Various shifts, Monday - Friday.
