Aeronautical Engineering Technician (Mechanical) Apprentice

As an Aeronautical Engineering Technician (Mechanical) apprentice, you will:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft and components Perform basic maintenance activities including inspections, component removal and installation, defect rectification, and disassemble and build of gas turbine engines Interpret and work from aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM), illustrated parts catalogues (IPC), engineering drawings, specifications and process documentation Use hand tools, power tools, ground support equipment, and test equipment safely and effectively Accurately complete maintenance documentation, work cards, and job records in accordance with company and regulatory procedures

Over the course of the programme, you will study towards your Level 3 Diploma whilst acquiring the knowledge, skills and competence to operate as an aircraft maintenance technician alongside our adept team who will offer guidance and mentorship.



Training:
The training will be delivered by South Hampshire College Group Your training will be delivered Day Release at CEMAST, Lee-on-the-Solent, PO13 9FU The schedule of this day release is to be confirmed

Training Outcome:
Upon completion of your apprenticeship programme, you could be offered a full-time permanent position with the chance to progress within the team

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 7.00am - 3.30pm, Friday, 7.00am - 12.00pm.
