Apprentice Level 3 Early ears Educator

The role includes caring for children between the ages of 6 months to 4 years. Intimate care routines, including feeding, and safe sleeping are necessary. The ability to risk assess the environment whilst engaging with the children in the setting is essential. Children are supported with a well-thought-out curriculum that should be delivered with enthusiasm and intent. To operate a programme of experiences and activities suitable for the age and range of children in your room in conjunction with other staff. To understand and promote the ethos of the company and uphold the highest standards of childcare. To observe and understand the rules of confidentiality. To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people within the setting, ensuring the nurseries' policies and procedures are observed at all times. To keep a learning journey for key children, compiled with photographs and observations to demonstrate what happens in nursery and why we offer the activities and experiences that we do on the nursery app. To build positive relationships with children, families and internal/external professionals demonstrating positive behaviour and expectations. To support staff and engage in a good staff team. To be involved in out of work activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, fundraising events.

Training Outcome:

At the end of completion, there will be the opportunity to grow within the company.
