EQUINE GROOM APPRENTICESHIP - LIVERY YARD

The team is small and friendly with 3 staff working a day at anytime.The location is currently opening a shop selling equestrian goods.

There is a possibility that the right candidate can also support and work in a customer service role within this capacity.

Your main role will be the care and welfare of the horses duties include:-

Grooming Turning out/in Rugging up Mucking out Feeding

There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to come along to off-site training & shows. 

Training:

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours.  

Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach. 

Training Outcome:
Progression to Level 3 Senior Groom Progression to a Business apprenticeship Full time employment

Employer Description:

Cloud Stables is based in Arborfield, Reading. It is a training and livery yard consisting of 23 horses. They offer schooling livery and standard livery. There is an equestrian retail shop opening onsite.

Working Hours :
Working days will be discussed with the right candidate. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work a weekend day. General working hours are 8am-4pm
