Electrical Installation and Maintenance Apprentice

The apprentice will carry out duties that align to the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the Electrical Installation and Maintenance standard, including:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems (IP and analogue) Running and terminating cabling, including Cat5/6, coax, and fibre were required Mounting and aligning cameras internally and externally, including working at height Connecting systems to networks to enable remote monitoring and access Carrying out servicing, fault-finding, and upgrades on existing systems Completing all work to a high standard with accurate documentation Providing customer handover and basic training on installed systems

All work will be completed in line with electrical regulations, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.

Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your paid working hours will be spent training or studying.

Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a qualified electrical installation or maintenance role within VIP Communications, with continued development across security, communications, and integrated electrical systems.
