This is a permanent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established business which offers, comprehensive training, and development in their modern manufacturing facility.
They have been trading over 60 years and have built a sterling reputation in their particular field.
Today they operate out of a facility almost 20,000sq foot in size, which is filled with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.
The Maintenance Engineer will easily be able to commute to this HUDDERSFIELD based employer from surrounding towns & cities including Halifax, Elland, Brighouse, Oldham, Rochdale, Holmfirth, Dewsbury, and Bradford.
The Maintenance Engineer roles and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, based on the production floor.
Maintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual, and efficient operations.
Ensuring that periodic and preventive maintenance works are completed and that troubleshooting, and maintenance support is provided at all times.
Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, via asset management software.
Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and others within the technical team to find ways to improve production and increase machine reliability and performance.
Experience of the Maintenance Engineer:
Have experience of working in a plastic injection moulding environment.
Ideally have experience with Negri Bossi, Haitian or Victor Machinery.
Experience of electric motors, three phase systems and various automation related electrical components.
Be able to trouble shoot and repair injection moulding machinery
Experience with 22-to-800-ton injection moulding presses.
Qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to at least ONC level.
The Maintenance Engineer receive:
Salary of £35,000 per annum
Working 8am to 8pm Monday to Thursday
Comprehensive training and skill development
Holiday entitlement: 28 Days including public holidays
Statutory pension contribution after probation period
