Mechanical Ventilation Engineer – FM Service Provider - Slough – Commercial Complex – Up to £44,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider located near Slough.
CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to be based at this prestigious site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical ventilation systems across the studio facilities. The location features on-site parking and nearby amenities, including bars, cafés, and a cinema, making it a great place to work and unwind after hours. Hours of Work:Monday to Friday
08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:Execute scheduled planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all ventilation plant and equipment
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and emergency breakdowns
Diagnose complex mechanical faults and implement lasting repairs
Inspect ductwork and ventilation systems to industry standards
Perform essential mechanical tasks such as belt replacement, bearing lubrication, filter changes, and fan balancing
Work collaboratively with HVAC and M&E teams to ensure efficient system operation
Manage and oversee specialist sub-contractors, ensuring compliant and high-quality workmanship
Package:Up to £44,000 basic annual salary

Requirements:NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Ventilation Systems – Essential
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience maintaining and installing large-scale mechanical ventilation systems
Proven facilities maintenance experience in commercial environments
