What you will do at work-

Safeguarding & Welfare
Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly. Maintain a safe environment through risk assessments, supervision, and adherence to policies. Support children with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner.Partnership with Families
Build positive, professional relationships with parents/carers. Share information about children’s progress, wellbeing, and daily experiences. Support the settling-in process, offering reassurance and continuity of care.Teamwork & Professionalism
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive team environment. Contribute to the planning and evaluation of learning activities. Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and reflective practice. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and CPD opportunities.General Duties Follow all policies and procedures of the setting. Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organisation within classrooms and shared spaces. Assist with mealtimes, sleep routines, and transitions throughout the day. Perform any additional duties as required by the Room Leader or Manager.
Training:
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
Training Outcome:
Full-time Practitioner with Key Person role.

Greygates Nursery is a small, independent family nursery in Muswell Hill, London. Our beautiful Victorian house is home to up to 50 children each day, aged from 3 months to 5 years.
Working Hours :
4 days per week, 7.45am - 6.00pm. 39 hours per week.
