Electrical Apprentice
Your Daily duties will include:
Install, maintain and repair electrical services (eg. lighting, sockets, fire alarms, emergency lighting and heating controls) Work indoors and outdoors and be prepared to sometimes work at height Be prepared to travel away from home Develop good working relationships with employees and clients Read both building and engineering drawings Understand wiring and circuit diagrams Select (within limits) materials and equipment Inspect and test electrical installations Diagnose and rectify faults on a range of circuits and equipment Write reportsTraining:
You will attend Hull college 1 day a week and participate in pratical and theory sessions Will in the work place you will be taught by a fully qualified electrican who will show you all aspects of the role
Training Outcome:
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, a full-time position may be available for the right candidate to progress and grow with the company
