Apprentice Quality Engineer

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Conduct basic inspections and tests of materials, components, and finished products according to established procedures. Document quality control activities, including inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Support the investigation of quality issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions. Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in internal and external quality audits, learning about compliance and continuous improvement. Help maintain quality records and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Contribute to the development and improvement of quality-related documentation and procedures. Learn about various quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and their application.

Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Working Hours :
37 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, 07.00 - 15.30. Friday, 07.00 - 12.00. One half hour unpaid break per day.
