Database Developer - No-SQL

Database Engineer, Database Developer, Database, No-SQL, Mongo, Dublin, Contract

We are currently looking for a Database Developer to join our client based in Dublin, Ireland.

- 12 month initial contract with a high possibility of extensions.
- Required 1-2 days a week onsite

You will be joining a team of Database Engineers who manage the clients databases with a goal to deliver secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure and software deployment capability for global solutions.

Provide administration of production, pre-production, UAT and development database systems and assist in designing of the database tier for our global systems

Provide a robust, scalable and high-performance production database environment working with system engineers, database developers and other database administrators

As the Database Engineer you will have prior experience of building databases from scratch using No-SQL

Key skills/Desirable skills we are looking for:

- Experience working on cloud-hosted services like AWS, Azure
- Database Technologies Include (not limited to): PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra/Elastic Search, Redis, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle Exadata Administration, Graph DB.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in both RDBMS and NoSQL database technologies
