Maintenance Apprentice Trainee

A driving licence is essential for this role. 

What You’ll Be Doing As an Apprentice, you’ll support our team with day‑to‑day maintenance and installation work across domestic and commercial properties. You’ll help deliver safe, efficient, high‑quality jobs while building skills in: 

Health & Safety on-site Building fabric repairs (walls, doors, plasterwork, etc.)  Basic plumbing and drainage  Assisting with electrical tasks  Safe use of tools and equipment  Reactive maintenance and fault-finding  Practical problem‑solving  Professional communication with colleagues and customers 

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a positive, team‑focused attitude. You should take pride in detailed, high‑quality work and be flexible with tasks, locations and working hours. This is a hands‑on role, so being physically fit, reliable, punctual and well‑organised is important.

Training:

Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship Spend one day a week at Milton Keynes College, learning in top‑class facilities and being supported by expert mentors who’ll guide you through every step of your apprenticeship journey.



Training Outcome:

This role offers variety, hands-on learning, and real career progression within a growing business. A permanent full-time role in the Property Care team with prospects to run and manage your own team of operatives as a supervisor and then on to management.
