Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire (CV32)

Salary: £21,000-£24,000 per annum, experience dependant

An exciting opportunity for a Musical Instrument Specialist with a competitive salary of £21,000-£24,000, to join a leading classical, jazz and instruments online and physical retailer.

You will be part of a Sales and Product Management Team, due to online and physical growth, the ideal candidate would be an accomplished retailer with a musical background.

The Role:

The role as a Musical Instrument Specialist will be at the front line representing your given instrument department in the store and online.



Responsibilities:

* You will work closely with the online department to improve and update product data and listings in the ecommerce channel.
* Maintain a very high standard of service and sales-merchandising, ensuring that prices are correct, discussing products with the highest level of knowledge.
* You will successfully build and maintain the department along with associated accessories in store, responding to customer questions and requests via email, telephone, and in person.
* Understand and help maximise the commercial potential for all departmental instruments and accessories and collaborate with management and marketing to review plan and implement product ranges and offers.


Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

* Excellent consultative selling skills with an affable nature
* Excellent all-round computer skills, including Microsoft Office and (ideally) Microsoft Access
* Ability to read music
* Passionate about instruments & a wide understanding of all musical genres
* Confidence to use initiative and prioritise tasks whilst also being a strong communicator and team player
* Experience with meeting targets and deadlines
* Personal attributes: reliable, responsible, decisive, and organised
* Commitment and dedication to high standards and accuracy
* Ability to liaise, collaborate & communicate with the wider team & business
* Keen interest in writing content for the website
