Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship
The applicant will be working under a supervisor and 1 to 1 instruction to begin with learning basic skills then advancing as quickly as they are able to work with hand tools like drilling and grinders then move on to welding, cutting and folding.
Working from engineering drawings to establish production methods.
The successful applicants will be expected to know how to manufacture the completed damper range, completed mechanical checks and some basic electrical checks.
The company is part of the ISO9001 and successful candidates will expect to learn the quality processes throughout the production line and obtain the skills to meet these standards.
Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Training Outcome:
We have a number of different fabricating areas to specialise in, from complicated specialist dampers in stainless steel and aluminium or working on large projects and responsible for design/planning and quality. Wage expectation once established and qualified £30k to £35k per annum.

Working Hours :
40hrs Monday to Thursday 8.5 hours shift Friday 6 hours shift Shifts to be confirmed
