SEN Teaching Assistant

Agency Teaching Assistants required across Reading for Special Educational Needs Primary Schools and Nurseries .

We are looking for Teaching Assistants with who can work well as part of a team and on a 1:1 basis and make a positive impact on a child's day within a Educational environment . The ideal applicant will have experience with Learning Disabilities from moderate through to profound. We are looking for candidates with great communication skills, a positive attitude and a be a great team player

Agency Hours available - 08:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday

You can pick and chose when you work from 1 day to 5 (depending on our clients needs)

Duties of a SEN Teaching Assistant

Support the Class Teacher in the smooth and effective running of the class Supporting pupils in their learning and development, in small groups or on a 121 basis To help raise standards of achievement for all pupils To encourage the social and emotional development of pupils To help pupils to become as autonomous and as independent as possible Supporting with Personal Care throughout the day

Experience Required

Experience working with Children and Young people with Learning disabilities Including ASD, ADHD, Visual , hearing and sensory impairments Physical disabilities Personal Care
