I’m recruiting a Commercial Director for a flagship luxury resort on the Croatian coast. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the commercial strategy across a large, multi-outlet resort environment, covering revenue, sales, marketing alignment, distribution, and overall performance.

This position sits on the resort leadership team and works closely with both on-property management and group-level commercial functions, with a clear mandate to drive revenue growth, sharpen market positioning, and deliver long-term profitability.

Your Experience

Extensive senior commercial leadership experience within luxury hotels or premium resortsProven background in 5-star or lifestyle hospitality environmentsStrong international market exposure across leisure, luxury, and MICE segmentsExperience working within a branded or group hotel structureCommercially sharp, performance-driven, and comfortable leading complex operationsFluent English essential; German and/or Croatian highly advantageous

Your Responsibilities

Own and deliver the full commercial strategy for the resortLead revenue management, pricing, forecasting, and budgeting across all departmentsDrive performance across rooms, F&B, events, wellness, and ancillary revenue streamsOversee sales strategy, distribution, and market mix across international feeder marketsWork closely with marketing teams to align campaigns with commercial prioritiesStrengthen direct booking performance and optimise channel mixAct as a key commercial partner to the Resort General Manager and Group leadershipLead, develop, and inspire the on-site commercial team
