Network Engineer

Network Engineer - 3 Month Contract Day Rate: £450 - £550 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 3 months
Location: Yorkshire or East Midlands (2 days per week on-site)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week plus out-of-hours support rota

The Role We're seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support IT infrastructure services across a nationwide network of depots and facilities. You'll manage network and security infrastructure, participate in projects, and provide 2nd/3rd level support.

Essential RequirementsCheck Point experience (essential)Cisco CCNP or equivalent professional certificationHands-on experience with Cisco DNA3+ years Cisco network design and implementationDesign and implementation of complex firewall and VPN environmentsLAN/WiFi environments including Software Defined NetworksNetwork and firewall automation skillsStrong fault-finding and analytical abilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesManage and design network security technologies (Firewall, LAN, WAN, Load Balancers)Systems monitoring, fault management and installationsAutomation and scriptingProject participation and infrastructure implementationsDesirableLoad balancing, Cisco ISE, ACI/DNA and wireless technologiesExperience with third-party suppliers and change managementNote: Requires flexibility to travel and work outside normal hours as needed.
