We currently have an opening for an ambitious individual looking for the ideal place to start or progress their career in sales.
Our client is looking for a Sales Executive to help achieve growth forecasts through delegate sales to financial institutions.
Our client provides the highest-quality intelligence to risk and control practitioners managing non-financial risks across the 3 lines of defence in financial institutions.
They deliver this via global in-person and virtual events, private meetings, and digital content.
We are launching new products and require an enthusiastic and hardworking salesperson to grow with a young company with big plans.
The ideal candidate will have some sales experience or will be looking to launch their career in sales.
Previous experience in the sector is a requirement but an interest and willingness to learn quickly about this market is.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing media business, so an entrepreneurial streak would suit well.
Qualify Marketing leads as well as identify new leads through research
Contact potential delegates who are senior decision makers in financial business, and talk them through the upcoming event agendas, and confirm their invitations
Update CRM records with new leads, call and email interactions, and follow up contact
Achieve target delegate numbers for each event
Attend in person events, great delegates, and network with clients
Support the team with event preparation, and administrative tasks
Degree Educated or equivalent education
A minimum of 6 months sales experience (desirable)
Must enjoy and be highly motivated by new business development
Must have excellent telephone manner
Must have a natural sense of responsibility; for their customers, their company and themselves
Must be highly driven to succeed despite setbacks
Must be solution orientated in their approach to challenges
