About the Role:

We are looking for a Domestic Solar Electrical installer to join our fast-growing electrical company. Mercia Electrical specialise in renewable energy, including Solar PV, Battery Storage and Electric Car Charging. Mercia are supporting the transition away from fossil fuels by originating and developing large-scale Solar PV projects. They are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about renewable energy to join their dynamic fast-growing company within our domestic department.

Candidate will be responsible for:

Install & Commission Solar PV and Battery storage system (Domestic only)Ensure installations meet BS 7671 and MC standardsComplete testing, certification and handoversCommunicate well with customers and be able to answer questionsStay informed about changes in renewable energy policies and incentives

Required Qualifications/ Experience:

NVQ Level 3 (Required)18th Wiring Edition (Required)Solar PV and Energy Storage Systems (EESS) (Required)Over one years' experience in solar installations (Required)Test and Inspecting (Desired)Strong knowledge of solar installation processes, codes and regulationsExcellent communication skills for all divisions of the company and customersExcellent time management and organisational abilitiesWilling to travel up to 90 minutes from the office location (DE3 0BX)
