Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Welton Primary School

Assisting the Class Teacher in the preparation of learning materials and resources. Working with small groups of pupils or individuals to support their English, maths, and social development. Supporting the inclusion of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Supervising pupils during break times and ensuring their safety and well-being. Helping to maintain a tidy, safe, and stimulating classroom environment. Contributing to the assessment of pupils’ progress and providing feedback to the teacher. Attending staff meetings and participating in professional development training.

Training Outcome:

Following the successful completion of the Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship, there may be the potential for a permanent position at Welton Primary or within the wider Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership.This qualification also provides a strong foundation for progressing to Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status or pursuing a degree in Primary Education.

Working Hours :
8:30am - 3:30pm, with a 30 minute lunch break. Days to be confirmed.
