Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprentice
Supporting children's learning and development through play.
Supporting children's independence and the learning of new skills.
Helping to plan and deliver engaging activities that reflect children's individual interests and development stages.
Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changing, and outdoor play.
Using personal initiative to recognise and carry out changes in routines (and carrying these out in a time-efficient manner).
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Following the EYFS (statutory framework) and nursery's individual policies and procedures for the safe and legal running of the setting.
Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.
Training:
You'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including risk management, key person & attachment, learning & development, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer.
Training Outcome:
As with any apprenticeship opportunity – if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team, there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.
Employer Description:
Little Toes Day Nursery is a small home from home private day nursery, registered to care for only 26 children per session. They are looking for someone to join their team to work alongside all staff members and children, giving knowledge, understanding and experience of child development from birth to 4 years 11months. You will be joining a close, supportive team that focuses on child led learning through play.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday ,shifts between 7.30am and 6pm.
