The Role

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, high-quality experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting patients throughout their visit in practice Dispensing spectacles and assisting with frame and lens selection Supporting contact lens services Adjustments, repairs, and collections Working within a single-testing clinic environment Delivering consistently high standards of customer care

About You

This role would suit someone who:

Has experience working within optics or Has a strong background in a customer-facing role and enjoys delivering outstanding service Is calm, confident, and comfortable speaking with patients Takes pride in going above and beyond for customers Is eager to learn and develop within a supportive environment Is looking for a flexible, part-time role within an independent practice
