We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team.
The Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Email Marketing Supervisor and will support the smooth function of the email channel and the Marketing team, as required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:• Support the Email Marketing Supervisor in the planning, delivery and sending of email campaigns• Write email briefs, email copy, copy check, test and send emails• Set up and test voucher codes• Set up and manage website banners triggered by emails• Communicate emails and promotions out to the wider business • Gather new customer data through surveys• Assist with KPI reporting and email A/B split testing• Coordinate blog posts in line with the marketing plan• Assist with the day-to-day running of the affiliate programme• Order leaflets, business cards, competition prizes and any other marketing materials • Assist with award applications• Draft and assist with the monthly internal newsletter• Undertake training and development, as necessary• Provide administrative support and complete ad-hoc tasks for the marketing team• Deputise for the email marketing supervisor
• Relevant degree in Marketing, Media, English or Business is desirable but not essential • Excellent communication skills.
Ability to write and edit copy or content.
Excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar• Strong attention to detail• Multi-tasker who can adapt to changing priorities• Confident to take ownership and use their initiative• Positive and professional attitude with a problem-solving/ solution-oriented nature• Comfortable with using large amounts of data, spotting trends and using Microsoft Excel• Basic HTML knowledge desirable• Team player • Someone who will put the customer front and centre
