Senior Support Worker – Learning Disabilities Supported Living (Blackpool)
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities in Blackpool. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, person-centred support while acting as a positive role model for other support staff.
About the role as a Senior Support Worker:
You will provide individualised, person-centred support to adults living in their own homes, enabling them to lead fulfilling, valued, and independent lives while remaining active members of their community.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining warm, trusting relationships with individuals Promoting self-esteem, emotional wellbeing, dignity, and respect Supporting individuals to express their views, make choices, and participate in planning and decision-making Promoting rights, inclusion, and community participation Delivering support in line with individual person-centred plans
About you as a Senior Support Worker:
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities Ability to deliver person-centred, dignified support Confident working independently and as part of a team Positive, reliable, and supportive approach
Hours of Work and Pay:
Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week Worked flexibly on a rota including evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and public holidays Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
