Finance Apprentice
With full training and ongoing support, this role offers a great opportunity to develop practical finance skills within a friendly school environment.
The apprentice will assist with a range of day-to-day finance tasks, including:
Entering financial information into the Trust’s finance system Helping to raise purchase orders and sales invoices Supporting the recording and checking of credit card transactions Assisting with routine tasks linked to sales and purchase ledgers, such as following up outstanding payments Providing basic cover and support for the Finance Assistant as requiredWe are looking for someone who is keen to learn, enthusiastic, and ready to develop their skills within a supportive school environment.
The ideal candidate will:
Be comfortable using ICT applications such as Word and Excel Show a genuine commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme Demonstrate a positive and thoughtful approach to problem solving Be punctual, reliable, and well organised, with good time-management skills Be able to use initiative while also working well as part of a team Communicate clearly, professionally, and in a friendly manner with both internal colleagues and external contacts Take pride in working accurately and paying attention to detail Be motivated, positive, and aligned with the Trust’s values and goals Be honest, approachable, and enthusiastic, with a good sense of humour and satisfaction in doing a job wellTraining:
