Customer Solutions Apprentice
Maitain a polite, positive, and professional attitude when dealing with customers
Assist in responding to customer enquiries through phone, email and online systems
Support the team in ensuring customers receive timely updates on their shipments
Acknowledge and record customer feedback or concerns for senior staff to review
Learn how to process customer orders and input data accurately into internal systems
Under supervision assist in arranging customer collections and deliveries
Support the team in keeping customer portals and records up to date
Help gather PODs and other documentation required by customers
Develop an understanding of Rhenus products, services, and basic logistics processes
Gain introductory knowledge of customs requirements, documentation, and broker processes
Shadow experienced team member to learn how to handle customer accounts and enquiries
Participate in training to build confidence in problem-solving and communication
Work closely with colleagues across departments to support smooth operations
Share any delays, issues, or unusual customer requests with supervisors promptly
Contribute to a positive team environment and assist others when tasks are complete
Training:
On the job training delivered by the employer
Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeships English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3
Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training
Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge skills and behaviours in order to progress and develop
Identify, track and support 6 hours off the job training activities
Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next steps
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, we will be looking at future development opportunities for them
