LEVEL 3 EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER APPRENTICE

The apprentice will support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Duties include:

Assisting with daily routines Planning and delivering play-based activities Observing and recording children’s progress Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and following safeguarding and health and safety procedures

Training:

Training will be delivered by EEV Training, with one day per week allocated to off-the-job training. This training will take place through a mix of online learning and in-person sessions, as agreed between the employer and EEV Training. Any required travel for in-person training will be confirmed in advance.

Off-the-job training will include tutor-led sessions, workshops, assignments, and guided learning to support the development of the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for the role. The apprentice will receive regular reviews, feedback, and ongoing support from EEV Training.



Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice is expected to progress into a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner role. With experience and further training, there may be opportunities to progress to senior practitioner, room leader, or management roles within early years education.

Working Hours :
Nursery apprentices typically work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with one paid day for off-the-job training. Working hours TBC
