Chef Needed - Thorney Island - FM Service Provider - Up to £15 per hour 

CBW has an Exciting opportunity for a Chef to work for an established company situated in Thorney Island. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Chef and will be able to work Immediately on a flexible basis.

Monday to Friday06:30am to 14:00pmCover workImmediate start

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent, Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the team in the day-to-day running of the canteen and kitchen, including planning and implementation of new procedures and conceptsEnsuring that all food served is of the highest qualityTraining and supervising all new staff in the safe preparation of food itemsEnsuring that health procedures are followed in accordance with HACCP regulationsEnsuring that par stock levels are maintainedEnsuring that all deliveries are cross-checked with purchase orders, and that all stock delivered is counted/weighed and verified with the delivery noteEnsuring that all deliveries are stored correctly as soon as possible after arrivalEnsuring that all dishes are prepared and portioned according to recipe cardsParticipating in the formulation and compilation of all new menusEnsuring that all equipment is cleaned and serviced as required, with any breakages reportedEnsuring that a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming is adhered toEnsuring all chef staff wear long-sleeve chef jackets and non-slip shoes
