Trainee Fire & Security Engineer Apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Engineer at Dunelm Security Systems based in East Boldon. There is an excellent opportunity to progress and grow within the company for the right candidate who is enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills. 

Training:

The successful applicant will work towards the Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Will be required to attend day release at Access Training on Team Valley, Gateshead (this may be 1 day per week or 1 day per fortnight dependent upon the phase of the course you are in).

Please note the day of delivery may change dependent upon the phase you are in (there are now 5 phases).

Training Outcome:

There is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills for the right candidate who is enthusiastic and willing to learn, and the successful apprentice will progress on to eventually attending jobs independently. The employer will also facilitate additional training by arranging relevant fire safety system courses to further develop skills.

Dunelm Security Systems is a family run business based in East Boldon and covering the whole of the Northeast. Specialising in the installation & maintenance of fire / intruder alarms, access control systems and CCTV. James Colman (Director) has worked in the industry for over 20 years and has an excellent knowledge of the industry. Regulated and approved by SSAIB and a guaranteed tradesperson through Check a Trade meaning reputation and customer satisfaction is a major part in the successful running of the company

Working Hours :
40 Hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
