Key Responsibilities:
Emergency Response:
Respond to emergency calls and provide prompt and effective medical care to patients in various situations, including accidents, illnesses, and emergencies Assess the medical needs of patients and provide appropriate treatment in accordance with established protocolsPatient Care:
Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of individuals during transportation and treatment Assist in managing patients with a range of medical conditions, providing emotional support and reassuranceSkills Development:
Participate in training sessions and practical exercises to develop clinical skills, including administering medications, performing basic life support, and using medical equipment Work towards achieving required competencies, including communication skills, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocolsDocumentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments provided, and any incidents during transport Ensure all documentation is completed according to legal and organisational standardsTeam Collaboration:
Work closely with ambulance crew members and other healthcare professionals to ensure that care is delivered in a coordinated manner Participate in debriefing sessions after emergency calls to discuss outcomes and areas for improvementTraining:
