Onsite Trades Foundation Apprentice
Daily work duties could include:
Preparing and maintaining the work area and keeping it safe and tidy. Following written and verbal instructions from supervisors and site teams. Using and storing tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment correctly. Carrying out simple onsite trades tasks (e.g., basic construction tasks related to bricklaying, carpentry, joinery or plastering). Selecting and using materials, including mixing materials when required. Protecting materials and work in progress from damage, weather and theft. Helping with simple repair tasks on site. Disposing of waste safely and segregating for reuse/recycling. Communicating with colleagues, other trades, customers and site management.Training:
The apprentice will complete their training through day release at AccXel Construction, alongside practical learning in the workplace. Training will combine classroom-based learning with hands-on skills development, supporting the knowledge and behaviours required for the Onsite Trades Foundation Apprenticeship.
Training Outcome:
The typical progression routes will likely include employment or progression onto another skills product such as a level 2 or level 3 apprenticeship.
